High Angle Release Connector

The 7-3/8” intervention connector system is designed for riserless intervention onto subsea systems. The connector has a LOCK/UNLOCK circuit to hydraulically establish the connection. In addition, the connector has an independent DOCK/UNDOCK circuit which enables the connector to make up Φ¼“ couplers (quantity 22) and Φ1“ couplers for rigid circulation lines (quantity 2) using a separate hydraulic power circuit. In this way, the hydraulic couplers are protected during the make/break cycle. The interfaces on the top and bottom of the connection can be tailored for specific requirements and are currently 9” API geometry. The connector can be fitted for either 10M or 15M pressure ratings (shown is the 10M version).
